ABOUT
Though football is Dwayne’s favorite sport, he played almost every sport while growing up in southern California. In college, Dwayne went from classroom to coaching as a Student Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach. Hard work and a special value in speedy recovery to injured athletes led to Dwayne becoming the first graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach at Colorado State.
After graduating with a Masters in Education, Dwayne returned to Fort Lewis College in Durango to build the strength and conditioning program from scratch. Here he gained experience working every varsity sport, teaching Exercise Science classes, and mentoring three interns.
After six years of collegiate strength coaching (2012-2017), Dwayne (also known as ‘Coach P’) has decided to expand his reach into personal training.
“The last few years have been learning the exercise habits of Durangotangs. I’ve found a niche in increasing strength training for cardio-heavy clients.”
